1-7 February: I've been thankful this week for delightful fellowship with our G'ville church family - worship and song followed by a shared lunch and an afternoon of music around the piano; more sunshine and blue skies after a foggy-layered morning in Riggins; more music in watching another Family Reunion on Hope Channel; for the unexpected blessing of a Bible class discussion of God's Law and the Christian; for sleep in spite of sharing my bed with a fur-baby; for a quiet, drizzley indoors day; for the ability to put my thoughts on paper (or a a computer keyboard); for the blessing of contentment (Philippians 4:11); for the convenience of text messages.
A transient ischemic attack left me without the ability to speak or write clearly Tuesday morning but after some rest from journaling Wednesday I am slowly improving (but very glad I'm not chained to a typewriter!).
I am so thankful I'm quicker with words this morning - easier to explain to my overseas son has happened; I was able to complete a easy puzzle in the weekly Shopper after several false starts; much praise to God for His healing touch; "The salvation of the (constantly) righteous is of the Lord; He is their refuge and secure stronghold in the time of trouble, and the Lord helps them and delivers them; He delivers from the wicked, and saves them, because they trust and take refuge in Him"(Psalm 37:39.40 AMP); as I am blessed to be with my church family again this week I am filled with gratitude for the blessings I have and those that will continue as I'm lifted up in prayers for recovery.
