Thanksgiving II ~

25-31 January:  This week I've been thankful for anticipation of breakfast with my family; for my several opportunities to explore other lands "making friendships for Jesus"; for access to the messages of Paster Dwight Nelson on Hope Channel (DirectTV ch.368 and also at www.pmchurch.org ); for seeing a reward for my efforts this morning - it's been Your strength, not mine; for a chance concepts from the book of Revelation with a neighbor; for invitation, for the joy of being included - especially being adopted into Your  family (John 1:12); for discovery - finding grocery items useful to my needs from another person's cupboard! I'm thankful, too, for those who have developed tasty whole-grain pastas; for new mornings and the mercy and grace each brings with it; for Lucy's growing ease with having me (and often Dandee) in her space (Lucy is resident feline - Dandee is due any minute, but Lucy has resumed her downstairs perching spot this morning); for the expanded passages of the Amplified Bible; for the blessing of sound sleep; for a mid-winters day with bright blue skies and warm sunshine; for all the pleasure of fellowship with others; for Agnes' hosting at breakfast without knowing I'd forgotten to bring my billfold; for S.D. being available to take my sister to the McCall ER after her knee "popped" as she's coming here to get Dandee; that a knee-brace and some ibuprofen made the injury much better; for another Sabbath-day, the memorial of the Creator's grand and mighty work of forming this planet and all who live on it; for Hope Channel's broadcast of Jennifer Jill Schwizer's  "The Lamb Wins" - a modern translation of Revelation's picture of Jesus in contemporary music.
