26 July-1 August: During this week I was thankful for being one week closer to our moving date as we relocate to Cottonwood, ID; for the treasury of promises found in God's Word; for the message of Hebrews 13:5 (echoing several Old Testament passages); for the moving process beginning as the big U-HAUL van is parked at the door whie cartons, boxes, and other items are packed into it; for the cloudy skies which temper the July heat; for the strength needed for this day (Deuteronomy 33:25); for the joys of our fuzzy friends; for the motel room available for a D.D. and me as our furnishings disappear into the big truck; for these words from Psalm 27:14: "Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!"; for sleep and rest in another bed; for the help given as the truck was being filled yesterday; for Psalm 4:8: "I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety"; for the phone message from the home-base; for fresh fruit in the market; for assurances that our Father is with us in every circumstance; for a motel bed to sleep in Thursday evening (the only vacancy to be found in this area!); the U-HAUL van's arrival through much difficulty; a divinely directed reprieve from the Friday evening return date due to the un-fixable problem; all the ways provided to bring glory to the Lord of the Sabbath (Luke 6:5 ); for this new house with all the places to stow what is NOW filling every nook and cranny; for D.S.I.L. unpacking my bed and getting it set up after he got home from work yesterday; "Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You . . . .", Psalm 31:19.
