My Year of Thanksgiving ~

5 - 11 October:  In this week I have been thankful for traveling mercies - many miles traveled without accident or trouble; for delight in the antics of the 10-week old Lhasa Apso-ShiTzu X Chihuahua-Yorkie now part of the household; for each new day that comes with strength to meet its challenges; for blessings and mercies that are new every morning; for daily progress in the process of relocation; that there was little damage from my misstep - and so easily cured; for the lovely visit from New Mexico friends - and their gracious response when introduced as another couple with similar mental connections running around my head; for a profitable day at ETC.; for safety as we all carry out our daily activities; for each  new morning and the assurance of fresh mercies from our Father's hand; for the ways in which He continues to provide all I need - and much more; for His boundless love for a rebellious race; for the preparation day which gives focus to my settling efforts; for grace that is beyond my ability to comprehend; for the gift of the Sabbath - time to reconnect with our Creator; for the beautiful floor-length drapes that now cover the nine-foot opening in the closet wall; for warmth and  shelter, for food, for all He has provided through all my life.
